College and Clayton Press is pleased to announce an upcoming title with Dr. Timothy Mathis. Dr. Mathis has a BS in journalism from Troy University (2011), MDiv in Great Commission Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2014), and a DMin in Discipleship and Spiritual Formation from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2019). Dr. Mathis is married to MaeLee and has three children. He currently serves at the senior pastor of Chappell Hill Baptist Church in Gilbertown, AL. Dr. Mathis also teaches classes for Samford University’s Ministry Training Institute and is a local hospice chaplain.
In Spiritual Cartography, Dr. Mathis explores how you can develop a plan to grow in your relationship with Jesus and teach you how to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus. These plans, or maps, identify where you are right now spiritually and help you chart simple, attainable steps to grow spiritually.
People interested in personal discipleship plans or leading a group in spiritual formation would benefit from Mathis’s Spiritual Cartography.
Check back soon to see new updates on Dr. Mathis’s project.
